    Verdict

    Coole Well won a novices' hurdle at Plumpton a year ago and made his chasing debut in a three-runner race at Newcastle last month where he was no match for the odds-on Simply The Betts. He faces another likely short-priced runner here in FIRST FLOW, who completed a hat-trick over hurdles in testing ground in 2017/18 and performed very well in his two starts over fences last month, the latest when chasing home the smart Angels Breath at Ascot. Haldon Hill, who makes his chasing debut, won a bumper and performed with credit over hurdles and his pedigree shouts fences but Tinctoria, whose point-to-point victory came over three rivals where one fell, was always struggling on her debut over hurdles here last month.
