Verdict
Another open contest here with many in form rivals in opposition including Smart Savannah, Knightsbridge King, Forest Tune and Russian Court and the tentative vote goes to Russian Court. The gelding from the Simon Sherwood yard was a fair fifth behind Gargoyle Girl last time and with the drop in distance sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Knightsbridge King won a seller in game fashion last time out when defeating Indian Sun but he is not the most genuine and this looks more competitive so for that reason he is opposed. Forest Tune would have a chance on his best form but he has been let down by his jumping of late so can not be backed with any confidence. Smart Savannah ran well after a long absence last time when second behind Vanormix and if he does not bounce he is another that could go well but for the winner we return to Russian Court.
