In depth
Verdict
Cristophe, Greenacres Boy and Oh So Brave look the three to concentrate on in a tricky finale and the tentative vote is given to Greenacres Boy. The selection won well last time out when defeating Sandabar in a seller. This looks a seller in all but name and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Cristophe rates the main danger on his best form but he gave the impression that his busy season had caught up with him when well behind Phase Eight Girl last time. This looks easier but he cannot be backed with any confidence after that disappointing effort. Oh So Brave won a dreadful race at Stratford on Sunday and he is another with place claims in a more competitive affair. Ockely Flyer was a fair third in a handicap behind Wayward Melody last time so he could be capable of taking a hand in the finish, but he has had plenty of chances in the past and remains a maiden, so we will stick with Greenacres Boy, who at least knows how to get his head in front.
