Papillon De Lena, Resonance and Axinit seem to be the three to concentrate on, with the vote going to the last-named. He takes his first drop into selling company today, and Tom Hogan's grey would not have travelled over from Ireland for no reason, indeed it is Hogan's first visit to the track. David Pipe has his stable in fair form, and he saddles Papillon De Lena who was well beaten last time out in a similar contest, however the forecast quick ground will suit the gelding and he should be there at the finish. Resonance remains a maiden both on the flat and over obstacles after twenty attempts, however he has been running fairly consistently and so could earn some more place money today. Of the rest, Titus Rock represents a fine stable, however Donald McCain's horses are yet to hit top form and whilst the horse makes its hurdles debut in a poor race, it can be assumed that he is no stable star. The selection pulled up lame on his last outing, however before that he held some fair form back in Ireland, and a reproduction of that should be enough to take this poor race.
