In depth

Verdict

Where Eagles Dare showed ability in Ireland when trained by Noel Meade but is entitled to improve for this run. Wind Tor made late headway on his debut under Rules at Chepstow and Starsky has won between the flags since last seen over timber. EQUUS DREAMER only weakened close home and was clear of the rest when third over 2m3f at Taunton. He’s been lightly raced and will strip fitter today with the big step up in trip a further plus. Sylvies Dance has joined Paul Nicholls since winning a point-to-point at Chipley Park just over a year ago while Slipway ran well for third against arguably better opposition at Kempton. Tallow For Coal can also figure if handling the longer distance but Flann was well beaten when runner-up over an extended 2m3f here last month.
