In depth
Verdict
Darn Good has an easy opportunity of breaking his maiden tag here with Grand Slam Hero and Senegal Tiger posing as the biggest dangers. The selection has shown some half decent form over the past few months most recently when finishing fourth of fifteen at Ludlow behind Piran. He was beaten a fair way but was eased when held so he does not have to improve much to win this. Grand Slam Hero comes from a yard doing well at present and the fact that Christian Williams has opted to ride this over Senegal Tiger means that the horse does have ability. He finished third around Ludlow on his penultimate outing but was disappointing at the same track last time out. Senegal Tiger has been soundly beaten in points this season and will have to improve plenty to win this. So for the winner we return to Darn Good.
