Verdict
The Hereford shrewdies will, no doubt, have this race sussed, so watch the betting but, without that, we will opt for Batchworth Lock ahead of Be My Dream and Samuel Wilderspin. The selection has left a good impression in the pointing fields in winning his last two races. Given that he is only eight, he should have more to come and can go well today. Much as he is no spring chicken Samuel Wilderspin showed he is no back number when winning last time, while Be My Dream cannot be left out if anywhere near his best, Best of the others might prove to be Good Bone and Joris de Vonnas, who both come here on the back of fair runs. The vote, though, stays with Batchworth Lock.
