In depth

Verdict

Second four times last season, including in a Listed race on her final start, Ziggy Rose will be a popular choice to break her duck. But she could find YOUNG BUCK a tough nut to crack as the Nicholls’ runner looked short of experience and full fitness when third on his debut under Rules at Exeter in March. He is a half-brother to five winners, most of them stayers. Call Simon may be best of the rest but that’s not saying much.
