Verdict
Twist The Facts could well make a winning debut in the bumper, with Flyingwithoutwings, Treacysdream and Hill Forts Timmy others to note. There are no previous winners here carrying penalties, and the only question is, does Twist The Facts have the ability. The fact that she is trained by Martin Pipe and ridden by Tony McCoy will help her cause, and the Irish-bred mare is taken to come out on top at the first time of asking. Flyingwithoutwings was niggled at to keep going when sixth at Uttoxeter eight days ago, and although having the experience now, he does not appear to be anything special. It is interesting however that Alan King turns him out again so quickly, and he may give the selection most to do if Robert Thornton can get him to settle. Irish point-to-point winner Treacysdream shaped well when second here recently and is another that can make a bid for the frame at least, while Hill Forts Timmy ran very wide on the bend at Plumpton, otherwise he would have finished closer than fifth on his debut. The market will reveal if anything else is fancied, but Twist The Facts hails from a top yard, and let's face it, she would not have to be anything special to score first time.
