Verdict
Cigarillo is on a retrieval mission and can make amends here, with Major Euro, Bronzesmith and Balladeer likely to make their presence felt. Cigarillo comes from a stable that can get them to jump and the six-year-old is sure to have been well schooled. Having opened his account over timber at Newbury, he then went on to get the better of a protracted battle with Your'e A Gasman at Sedgefield, and that form has since been franked by the latter. With Roselier on the dam's side, Cigarillo should make up into a decent chaser and on ground to suit, can get off to the perfect start. Major Euro, a winning pointer in Ireland, made a satisfactory start to his chase career when fourth over the course and distance recently, but will perhaps fare better on a more galloping track. Bronzesmith is much more experienced over fences but has yet to show any worthwhile form, and Balladeer, who will like the ground, is more worthy of note on his chase introduction. For the winner we return to Cigarillo.
