Verdict
Gaelic Flight has the most scope and can return from a brief break to score at the expense of Elheba, with Euro American best of the rest. Gaelic Flight improved markedly when sent to Stratford for his second bumper outing, bolting up by eight lengths. Having started off at Ascot in soft ground, he appreciated both the easier track and faster conditions, and has no more to do here. Having already made his mark, the Noel Chance-trained six-year-old can go on to better things and has nothing to fear from all bar Elheba. The latter's victory here came in selling company however, and we will be surprised if he lowers the colours of the favourite. Euro American is coming along steadily and may be good for a place but watch out also for Victory Set, an ex-German Flat horse. He could be anything in time, but on this occasion it would be folly to oppose Gaelic Flight who gets a confident vote.
