SACKETT has gone up 8lb since his second here over a longer trip but this doesn’t look as strong as the first division and Neil King’s maiden looks the one to beat. Outrageous Romana won at Uttoxeter in November but couldn’t cope off her new mark at Bangor in December and hasn’t raced since. Scales has had a wind op but he’s now 12 and how much that will have benefited him is open to debate. Gilly Grace showed a bit of improvement at Taunton last month but she’s only moderate and Flying Verse has yet to show much in the way of ability.
