Verdict
Jack Pot II can prove the best of Len Lungo's pair, with Just The Jobe seen as the main danger in the opening race on the card. Jack Pot II must have shown enough at home to persuade Tony Dobbin to choose him over Kidithou and so the hint should be taken. The selection has raced here twice over hurdles but finally opened his account when scoring at Wetherby in January. Len Lungo then revealed that up until that point the seven-year-old had not schooled over fences, but he is sure to have been put through his paces since, and with no doubts about the trip, gets the vote. Stablemate Kidithou was successful twice here last year and more recently chased home Albany. Second to Monet's Garden at Carlisle prior to that, he boasts fairly useful form over timber, and if translating that to fences, should pay to follow. Seasquill has plenty of experience already over fences but has an absence to overcome and is best watched. Just The Jobe was successful over hurdles here in December, and has been kept busy since. He was a distant third to the selection's stablemate Contract Scotland on his chase debut at Wetherby just six days ago, and so Lungo has a line to the form. With that in mind we return to Jack Pot II as the answer.
