Verdict

Sophie Leech's Magical Legend just did enough when beating Amalfi Coast at Cartmel on Sunday but is better than she showed there so cannot be discounted although this looks tougher. Peter Bowen's Ballyvesey has held his form well in handicaps as well as in this grade since beating David Pipe's Rokinhorsescience at Market Rasen in July but he may struggle to give weight away to CAPE TRIBULATION. Malcolm Jefferson's gelding lacks any experience over fences but showed a decent level of form over hurdles, earning a rating of 155, and he will take all the beating if able to translate that level of form to the larger obstacles. Elliott Cooper's Flying Doctor has disappointed on previous attempts over fences and looks best watched.
