In depth

Verdict

John Quinn's runners are in good form now so NOT TALKING, who ran well when third behind Mister Pete at Newcastle when last seen in March, may be worth siding with in a race that should not take a great deal of winning. Patrick Griffin's Diego Velasquez has shown reasonable form in points but has yet to translate that form to racing under rules, while Yes Minister made an encouraging first start in a handicap at Fontwell last time but needs to improve again to win this. Sue Smith has her string in better form now so Douglas Julian is bound to be popular with backers following a decent effort when second to Royal Flynn at Uttoxeter last month and he looks the main danger to the selection, Not Talking.
