      Verdict

      Aldwych Arrow showed a modicum of ability on his seasonal reappearance and confirmed his wellbeing when landing a Sedgefield novice event earlier in the week. However, with the favourite running below par, that race took little winning and the seven-year-old makes little appeal under a penalty so the TEAMtalk vote goes to Major Drive. Howard Johnson's charge stepped up on previous form when a close second in a similar event at Sedgefield recently and is entitled to be sharper for the outing which was his first for over four months. Lavender Lady has something to find with the selection on these terms while Workaway has an absence of over six months to overcome.
