Verdict
Carrigmoorna Matt won a couple of sellers in the spring but is having a first run for a new yard after a lay-off. Melody Of Scotland is in good form and three previous runs here have yielded two victories and a second, though her only poor recent effort came on soft going. ONLY ORSENFOOLSIES won on the Flat and over hurdles at the start of the summer. The 10-year-old has possibly been waiting for the ground to ease and, if fully wound-up, can complete the hat-trick even though regular pilot Billy Garritty can only claim 5lb nowadays. Meldrum Lad’s form figures are impressive but have been achieved mainly in point-to-points and hunter chases.
