In depth
Verdict
Having already won twice at the track, including last time when Kayf Adventure was a well-beaten third, Sheriff Garrett can’t be left out of calculations though a 7lb rise may have taken him out of his comfort zone on going that will be quicker than ideal. METHAG is only a pound higher than his last winning mark and was only beaten a neck off 3lb higher over track and trip in October. He will enjoy this surface and is preferred to the unexposed maiden You Name Him and Skipthescales, who hasn’t won for a long time and is better over further.
