Though raised 3lb after finishing second twice in a row, BIRD ON THE WIRE still looks better treated than likely market rival You Name Him, who was beaten 11 lengths off this mark at Uttoxeter when on a four-timer. Balkotic won at Sedgefield in the spring but has become hard to predict. New Zealander is preferred to Bintheredonethat of the others even though he is one of three racing from out of the handicap.
