In depth

Verdict

Pateen has turned in a couple of shockers since winning at Market Rasen in July and he’s probably the most exposed of these. Hats Off To Larry beat a decent yardstick here in June but is still 5lb higher. WELL EDUCATED (NAP) is also a course and distance winner and he is unlikely to be fazed by a drop back in distance with Malangen looking held on the form book. Nebuchadnezzar shouldn’t be far away again but the Worcester maiden winner Nibras Gold may have more scope. Battle Angel hasn’t shown much on the Flat this year.
