In depth

Verdict

SHERIFF GARRETT (NAP) has been very consistent so it’s something of a surprise that the handicapper has dropped him a couple of pounds. That means that the course and distance winner is back on a winning mark and first-time blinkers can see him get his head back in front. Hart Of Steel came up against a well-handicapped rival here at the end of March but Universal Folly is still a maiden, though was getting closer prior to his latest run at Market Rasen and he might do better on this slower surface. Franks Fancy also rates a danger on his second at Kelso in November but Laskadine might struggle to last home over this trip.
