      Verdict

      Perfect Inch runs in a handicap for the first time since beaten a neck by DREAMLOPER (NAP) over track and trip in September but is 4lb worse off with the winner, who got no sort of run on her reappearance over 7f at Haydock. Hold Fast and Poet's Lady look handicapped to their best form but Lights On looks a very progressive filly and she had Separate three lengths behind when making a winning return to action at Nottingham. Conservatoire was another heading sharply in the right direction last year but she has only won on heavy going so far.
