Verdict

Some of these two-year-olds will no doubt be back here for the Royal meeting next month. Desert Dreamer overcame a tardy start to beat Bellerena Lady on debut at Newmarket and the latter than put her experience to good use to fend off Night Arc at Leicester. Richard Hannon’s colt will know more today, however, and Stuart Williams’ filly has a penalty to carry. Robasta would surely have landed the odds at Yarmouth had he not missed the break and Mohi also ran green at Salisbury. FALL OF ROME is by Frankel out of a 7f Listed winner who made a winning debut as a two-year-old. He should have the pace for this with fellow newcomer He's A Gentleman also of interest being a £105,000 full brother to a juvenile 5f winner.
