In depth
Verdict
The consistent Red Nose Lady has claims on recent form but has yet to prove his effectiveness over today's trip and preference is for Book's Way, who gets the verdict over Forever Eyesofblue. The last mentioned had looked progressive prior to a disappointing effort at Perth last month and cannot be backed with any confidence. Top weight Diamond Monroe faces no easy task under 11st 12lb on his reappearance and of more interest may be Charnwood Street who has run with credit in better races than this of late. Irish raider Quizzical did not show much at Kelso recently but does have the assistance of Tony Dobbin. A market move for Kings Square would be of interest but the vote goes to Book's Way. The selection is proven over the trip, comes here in form and still feasibly well treated. He holds obvious claims.
