Verdict

BLENHEIM BROOK is chanced on his hurdling bow. A point-to-point winner at Killeagh, this stoutly-bred individual was never likely to feature in an Aintree bumper last May. However this looks likely to be his cup of tea and assuming the market doesn't cry otherwise then he can run a big race. Bavard Court is respected on this first start for Tim Vaughan, whilst Glingermill is respected as he looked to be learning with each run last season; stablemate Goffa Crag looks an obvious second string. Monogram showed signs of a temperament when running out at Perth last month but he was well-fancied there and is a fascinating contender if his top jockey can steer him in the right direction. Stablemate Errington is hard to fancy after a break but rule out him and Domoly at your peril.
