In depth
Verdict
Irish raider Grangehill Dancer has had a recent pipe-opener on the Flat and, with ground conditions to suit, should be too good for his rivals of whom the pick look to be Aston Lad and Quarry Island. The last mentioned has been running consistently well of late and has ground conditions to suit so has to be respected. Martin Todhunter's filly makes more appeal than recent Sedgefield third My Sunshine, who needs to improve again to trouble the selection. Katie Kai has place claims, but a bigger threat is likely to come from Micky Hammond's Aston Lad, who has stepped up on earlier form of late. Grangehill Dancer, a winner at Punchestown in December, has easily the best form on offer though, will love these conditions and is impossible to oppose.
