In depth
Verdict
A tricky looking end to proceedings may go the way of Allegedly So ahead of Comeonshe, Garden Shed Rebel and Flemingstone. The market could well throw up a potential springer in this sort of event, but there was a lot to like about the debut run of Allegedly So at Carlisle a month ago. Donald Whillan's charge finished fifth to Pinkerton Mill and was 21 lengths clear of the sixth horse. Time will tell if the form is any good but be stayed on well enough and will have no trouble with today's conditions. Comeonshe hails from a top yard but the daughter of Commanche Run is not one of Graham Wylie's and was well beaten on her Doncaster bow in November. Garden Shed Rebel makes his debut and runs in the colours of gardenshedracing aka three of our racing colleagues Neville Ender, Phil Curry and Dave Greenwood. We wish them the best of luck and they have secured the services of Tony Dobbin for this well related individual. Flemingstone, like the selection, is by Flemensfirth, but has shown little in two outings to date, and for the winner we prefer to side with Allegedly So.
