Verdict

Lady Of Scarvagh made eyecatching late headway when third at Ludlow behind Hop Fair on her debut and, with normal improvement alone, should play a prominent part in what looks to be a run-of-the-mill affair. Turning to the others. Daguyda has over seven lengths to find on that form. Izzykeen hails from a good stable but will need to step up on he has so far shown to feature, although this does not look like anything other than a run-of-the-mill affair. Top Of The Bill looked to be heading in the right direction at Musselburgh last time, while Viking Song is one to watch out for in the betting, as is Ferdy Murphy's Connaught Lady. Miss Lambrini has run some reasonable races, particularly when placed in the context of the opposition today, and she could run well, while Flashy Filly is at least out of a winning mare so the bloodline has, in some ways, proven itself. Bertie Arms should improve for his seasonal return, and Moments Madness hinted at a modicum of ability on her debut but there is no getting away from Lady Scarvagh, who gets the vote.
