Verdict
Ann Duffield's Marillos Proterras is lightly raced over hurdles after just the one start over timber but she will need to improve dramatically from her debut outing at Market Rasen a year ago to trouble DORABELLE, who gets the vote with Tharaya rated the best of the rest. The selection has looked useful in bumpers, winning her first start at Uttoxeter in April before finding just Heather Royal too good at Bangor last month and Don McCain's mare looks worth siding with on her hurdling debut having bound to have been well schooled at home. James Lambe's runners sent over from Ireland always warrant respect and Flying Bella is no exception but she needs to improve on all known form from admittedly limited opportunities. Malcolm Jefferson's Zoenicibel is readily discounted and of more interest is Tharaya, who comes here having won her last two starts in good fashion. She has a double penalty to carry for those wins though and may struggle to give weight and a beating to Dorabelle, who looks worth chancing first time up over timber.
