Verdict

Aged 13, Duhallowcountry appears to have gained a new lease on life and has won two of his last three but he may now be too close in the weights to less-exposed types. Ringaringarosie was carrying overweight when just beaten by CASIMIR DU CLOS at Sedgefield so connections will fancy their chances of reversing the form here. But it might be worth sticking with Stuart Coltherd’s seven-year-old as a subsequent defeat on the Durham track wasn’t his true running – Miss Amelia looks held on the form book.
