      Verdict

      ALMINOOR, a £135,000 yearling, attracted strong support on his debut at Musselburgh but couldn't quite shake off Proper Beau. He can make amends here and can take care of Danny Ocean, who looked in need of another furlong at Leicester. Bendy Spirit was well beaten in the Brocklesby but will have come on nicely for the experience while Manolith is a half-brother to four winners and bred for sprinting so he looks best of the newcomers.
