Verdict
Drumconnor Lad was a surprise winner back over hurdles here last month but runner-up FOR THREE is 2lb better off and there is a good chance that James Ewart’s charge will turn the tables on the top weight. Palm Beach has recorded a first and a second at Carlisle since joining John Dixon but faces no easy task back in a handicap while Bucko's Boy has rather lost his way over the last 12 months. Applaus is starting to look a light of former days but could help force the pace.
