Verdict
It’s a long time since Placedela Concorde showed any worthwhile form and he’s 13lb wrong in the weights. GLENGEEVER was beaten 16 lengths on his chasing bow at Fontwell but the experience wouldn’t not have been lost on Ben Lund’s charge and market rival Special Rate, despite having won his last two over hurdles, showed little between the flags earlier in his career.
