Verdict
Len Lungo's Kidithou has struggled under a penalty in his last couple of starts but this looks easier and he is preferred to the flat-bred Albany and Torosay. Albany was a winner over 1m6f on the level but, being by Alhaarth, is not certain to stay three miles and a bigger threat to the selection may be Torosay. Nicky Richards has his string in good form at present and the son of Presenting should appreciate what represents a drop in class having finished down the field behind Royal Rosa at Ayr last time. With Ferdy Murphy's stable coming back into form, Just For Fun has to be respected, while a market move for Mick Easterby's Now And Again would be of interest but the vote goes to Kidithou. A winner of two novice hurdles her earlier in the season, Len Lungo's gelding has not been disgraced since and gets the vote to return to winning ways at a track that clearly suits him.
