In depth
Verdict
GREAT FIGHTER was clear when falling at the last on his hurdling debut at Worcester and that appeared to have affected his confidence when only third at Fontwell subsequently. He may need more experience before reaching his full potential but still makes more appeal than Sacred Square, who has had plenty of chances. Winning pointer Hitman Hearns was beaten 20 lengths when third at Perth but this stiffer track should suit. Summer Storm hasn't raced since November last year but was second at Stratford earlier and still has time on his side.
