In depth
Verdict
Ex-Jonjo O'Neill horse Hurricane Bay ran a stinker last time out but that form was too bad to be true and we will take him to regain the winning thread today. He has no problems with trip or ground and the excuse given on that day was that he had a breathing problem. A mark of 81 does not look too harsh given his previous form. The market is watched with regard to Tobesure. John Charlton's string are rarely far away when the money is down and this horse was rated in three figures over hurdles. Jacksonville showed well on chasing debut last term on soft ground. The fact that Andrew Parker was quick to send him chasing is not lost on us but we will wait for next time as the six-year-old has tended to need his seasonal reappearance. Jumbo's Dream, Rosie Redman and Loudy Rowdy all have bits to find on the formbook and are opposed. In a tricky affair, Hurricane Bay has proven ability and is given as our tentative selection.
