Verdict
Its unlikely that Juddmonte Farms were planning on Buttress to be chasing victories at the likes of Hexham but Mick Easterby's representative would not have to up to Classic standard to land this prize. The son of Zamindar has a Green Desert dam so there is plenty to like about the whole package. Albertino Lad ran well behind Monet's Garden in a bumper at Ayr and gave the impression that he'd strengthen up for that run. With nine months away from the track, it will be interesting to see how time has affected him in the interim. Rambling Minister has run in two fair bumpers at Market Rasen and Bangor this term. He has tended to get outpaced in the early stages and this must be factored into any bets around here. Chris Fairhurst has had two winners from four National Hunt starts this season and Primitive Jean is duly watched in the market. Buttress is given our vote in a race where the market should offer plenty of clues to the punters.
