In depth
Verdict
Alpha Romana and Blythe Brook have by far the best form on offer and are the two to concentrate on. The former has a few questions to answer with regard to the trip but the lack of an obvious pacemaker should enable him to settle into a steady rhythm. However, Blythe Brook just edges the vote after proving himself to be in top form at Perth earlier in the month. Too much cut in the ground would be a big worry for him but if conditions stay as they are, his proven stamina is taken to be the decisive factor.
