Verdict
It's possible that Storm Forecast didn't act on heavy going at Sedgefield last time having won a bumper on soft ground at the track earlier. But he does have a bit to prove on his hurdling debut and we prefer KID VALENTINE. He's only had one run under Rules so far and that was back in October but he has won a point-to-point on an easy surface so should be suited by conditions. Veinard is looking a tad exposed but sets the standard and Flat winner Frightened Rabbit was second on his hurling debut at Market Rasen, though a well-beaten fourth at Newcastle 10 days ago.
