Verdict

Herons Heir beat Satanic Beat at Kempton two runs ago and travelled strongly for a long way on a return visit when third behind Midtech Valentine. But Ian Williams trains the winner and has COOL SKY in this. He's having his first start since October last year but has been a decent performer over hurdles on the Flat and his stable is going so well that an absence may not be an insurmountable problem. Wistari Rocks will need to improve again to complete a hat-trick but Awesome Rosie is respected and makes more appeal than New Member, who has found the going tough since scoring at Ludlow.
