Verdict

Mt Desert gets the confident vote here with Hunting Lodge and Montys Island rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Brads House last time out, that form has since been franked and with this sharper track sure to suit he is hard to oppose. Hunting Lodge rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind El Corredor but he has had plenty of chances without tasking one of late. However he could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers. Montys Island was a fair fourth behind Rob The Five and is another with place claims but the suspicion is he may been to better effect over a longer trip. Of the remainder Argonaut hails from a shrewd yard and could go well at a price but he is far from straight forward and for the winner we return to Mt Desert.
