    Verdict

Jass gets the call in the bumper, with his biggest dangers possibly proving to be Milan Deux Mille and Ember Dancer, but keep an eye on the betting. Jass is from a stable that does well here and this gelding, who cost 21,000 guineas, has a likeable pedigree and is one of the more likely types in this contest. Milan Deux Mille cost 48,000 euros and is another to hold interest, while Superior Dream is a half-sister to Soulacroix but cost only 1,000 guineas. Naemi has something to like on breeding, being related to some German winners, while Chateau cost 180,000 guineas as a foal but was then later sold for 5,000 guineas. However, he is well-bred, as you can imagine. Devonia Plains showed some promise on her debut behind the decent Sword Of Damascus, so might go well, while Ember Dancer is one to watch in the betting. Grunzig is related to Flat winners and is another to have a look at in the betting, but, for the winner, we will stick with Jass.
