Verdict

SLATE HOUSE can not be seriously opposed back in novice company as he was in the process of running an excellent race in the BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham when coming to grief. Tarada is from solid jumping stock and had very strong hurdling form so is an interesting contender. Breaking Waves also did well over timber, as did the selection’s stable companion Sizing Cusimano, while Encounter A Giant and Battys Dilemma are winning pointers.
