Verdict

The market should prove a valuable guide in this 3-yo bumper with many newcomers, especially the likes of A Shining Moon for a good Flat yard which hasn't had a NH runner since the 2016-17 season. Gary Moore continues to have his string in fine fettle and Abingworth could be a newcomer to note, along with Mick Appleby's Zuul. Scud makes most appeal of the Seamus Mullins pair but the safest option is to go with the proven form of ALAZWAR (NAP). Archie Watson does well with his very select team of jumpers and this Awtaad gelding was always in control when making a winning course and distance debut last month. He's the one to beat despite his penalty.
