Verdict
CORK ALL STAR was a very classy hurdler in his younger days and has been in excellent form between the flags for current connections lately, pulling readily clear of Start Royal at Higham last month in a race in which Star Double was carried out by a loose horse when in front. He should be too good for these with Mount Benger likely to find this an insufficient test of stamina. Preacher Boy is another who would probably prefer a bit further, while Aztec Warrior was found out when tried in better company at Ampton last month. Gripit N Tipit and Joyryder are both likely to need this and Mandingo Chief doesn't look the force of old.
