      Verdict

      Heavy ground was almost certainly to blame for Catlin’s latest performance at Newcastle but all of her wins have come at that track. Methodtothemagic hasn’t sparkled over fences so far but Legendary Rhythm arrives on a hat-trick. BRANDISOVA (NAP) has also won her last two and she jumped like an old hand on her chasing bow last month so can complete the hat-trick. Head And Heart will have learned plenty from her fifth at Exeter.
