In depth
Verdict
Ostland won his first three starts over fences and will appreciate the drop in grade having tackled Listed company at Market Rasen last month. Points Of View has something to prove, however, having being pulled up on his latest start in the same grade while Firm Order and I'Ve Been Framed have been off the track for a while. Spock should stay this longer trip but has gone up 5lb since finishing second at Newton Abbot so we'll give another chance to NATURAL ACTION. He sprang a surprise when beating the odds-on Chesapeake at Southwell in July but the runner-up hasn't done a lot wrong since and Peter Bowen's charge would have been placed at least had he not fallen at the last at Stratford on his only subsequent start.
