In depth
Verdict
Gold Again can keep up his trainers impressive record in these events, with No More Money and Oscar The Boxer best of those to have already raced. Noel Chance has a tremendous record in bumper races this term, having collected with five of his last seven runners. With that in mind, it must be worth taking a chance on Gold Again, a half-brother to Hi Cloy, a winner over hurdles in Ireland. Described as a promising sort by his trainer, Gold Again can pay to follow before going over timber. No More Money is a half-sister to Martell Grand National hero Red Marauder, so we know where her future lies. She pleased connections when finishing second at Bangor on her racecourse debut and will be fancied here. Oscar The Boxer has had two outings already and was a beaten favourite at Fakenham where he was too keen early on. Others to note are Tiquet and Illicium whose yards produce them ready and fit to run in this sphere. For the final winner of the day we return to Gold Again.
