Verdict
The Rebel Lady can defy topweight against the likes of Burwood Breeze, Mini Dare and Supreme Breeze. The Rebel Lady did not have a great deal to beat on her chase debut over the course and distance in November, but she put in a polished display of jumping and should be able to defy a rise in the weights. Burwood Breeze has more experience over the bigger obstacles but has found one too good on each of his last three starts. Even so, he keeps creeping up the handicap and may have to settle for a place yet again. Mini Dare had to give weight all round on his chase debut at Fakenham, but shaped well in finishing second. He was fancied then, and with Oliver Sherwood¿s yard in form, he will be expected to make his presence felt. Supreme Breeze just has the one pace and has failed to add to his one success over hurdles since going chasing. He departed early at Catterick eight days ago, and has it to do, while Veneguera will be plugging on at the finish. With more scope than most, The Rebel Lady should see them all off.
