Verdict

After victories at Ayr and Sedgefield, Fly Home Harry's bid to complete a hat-trick on the latter track ended in defeat though the slow gallop he set may not have been ideal as he was outpaced in the closing stages. Blue Heron made all and stayed on well over 1m6f at Ludlow but this is tougher and he has a penalty to contend with. After a promising introduction, RIVER DEEP was made odds-on here in January but had to scramble to see off Zeroeshadesofgrey. The runner-up has been unbeaten in two subsequent starts so the form looks strong enough for this. Border Breaker is an interesting entry having won a point-to-point at Castletown in Ireland in October but Beaufort Boy was beaten out of sight when runner-up at Fontwell.
